Clean Whistle Officiating is a platform for players, coaches, parents and officials to engage and interact with hockey content

Clean Whistle officiating is a safe haven where officials can share stories, admit mistakes and find comfort in getting answers without judgement being passed on.

Clean Whistle officiating is focusing on developing young and new officials that prioritize the needs of the game such as player safety, game flow, and fairness. Our belief is that officiating a quality hockey game takes a great deal of rule knowledge and judgement on when to apply the rules. A standard set by the officials on where the line in the sand is drawn on plays that impact the fairness of the game. We must remember that this game started on a pond, thus many of our rules are derived from our hockey culture and why certain rules exist today. Most likely because someone took advantage of a game strategy that we agreed is not fair.
